A hair oil for everyone. This oil has been blended with specific herbs and oils for growth, strength, repair and health of not only hair strands but scalp and follicle. It is wonderful as a mask applied to hair and scalp before washing with a gentle shampoo. It is also excellent for use on beards or for use as a deep leave in conditioner. This oil has a thick consistency that has been thinned out by the addition of Neossance Hemisqualane. This is a lightweight ester that adds emollient properties and increases the rate of absorbency of the oil.

You may use as much or as little as you find you need. I have long hair that is prone to dryness. I have been using somewhere around 3-5 droppers full before showers.

Some of the benefits or hair oiling include:

Fenugreek Seed: Many know these seeds for their culinary use. They are high in vitamins and minerals like calcium and potassium and extremely nutritious. They are also great for hair and scalp health! Fenugreek has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for many years for many purposes. They are high in proteins and iron necessary for hair health and help to repair damaged hair shafts. Due to their flavonoids and saponins they are anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal. This makes these seeds excellent for creating a healthful environment on the scalp. By reducing inflammation of the hair follicle, fenugreek can reduce shedding and hair loss. It has also been shown to increase hair density. Fenugreek seeds promote hair growth, combat dandruff and help to balance sebum production and dryness.

Amla Berry: Amla berries are also called Indian Gooseberries and produce a sour fruit. Ayurvedic medicine uses most of the plant for various therapeutic and cosmetic properties. Amla oil (made from dried berries) is rich in antioxidants (50 times more than blueberries) and is used to moisturize and strengthen hair and prevent infections. It has antifungal properties that has been shown to kill off dermatophytes. This fungus can cause hair, skin and nail infections. One study into amla extract has shown that it was even more effective at promoting hair growth than minoxidil, a common drug used to treat baldness. Amla oil soothes irritation, flaking and dandruff and helps to lock in moisture. Studies have also shown that amla oil may help stimulate collagen production and help fade hyperpigmentation.

Gotu Kola: Also known as the herb of longevity, this plant is also used in Ayurvedic medicine and findings are showing that it promotes hair growth at the follicular level. Improving the health and appearance of hair is more than just addressing the strands. We must also address the small structures that produce our hair and follicles. One study showed that Gotu Kola increased the genetic expression of hair growth proteins in DP cells located at the base of hair follicles. These produce hair growth and small DP cells are associated with hair loss. The anti-inflammatory properties of Gotu Kola (due to the presence of flavonoids) may help protect follicles against shedding resulting from inflammation.

Horsetail: This high silica herb is fantastic for strengthening and improving the elasticity of hair fibers, regulating hair growth cycles and reducing inflammation. It is high in selenium and antioxidants.

Rosemary: Studies have shown that Rosemary oil may be just as effective as minoxidil at increasing the overall hair counts among men. This aromatic herb is rich in antioxidant compounds. It also increases blood flow to the scalp meaning more oxygen and nutrients may be delivered to hair follicles. Rosemary has been shown to enhance shine and volume of hair. The leaves are also antimicrobial and a circulatory stimulant.

Castor Oil: This nutrient rich oil has been praised for it benefits to hair and scalp health. It is nourishing to both hair and scalp and promotes growth and strengthens strands. It is composed of a mix of proteins, vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants; most everything needed for healthy hair and scalp. Castor oil also has antimicrobial properties and fights off bacterial or fungal overgrowth. If you have flaking or dry skin on your scalp, castor oil is known to be an effective method of healing and cleansing. Castor oil actually attracts dirt and effectively cleanses. It may also help enhance the absorption of other products used on your hair and increase their efficacy.

Flax Seed Oil: Flax is an incredibly versatile plant and one we use for many things here. Flax seed oil is hydrating, anti-inflammatory and contains antioxidants. It’s packed with vitamin E and omega 3 fatty acids that combat dryness and frizz. Flax seed help balance pH and oil production and soothes sebaceous glands, so they produce the right amount of oil. Flax seed helps to repair damage and split ends by sealing in moisture. This also helps improve elasticity and reduce further breakage. It’s said that the fiber content of flax strengthens hair at its core. Alpha-linoleic acid calms scalp irritation like that associated with eczema and psoriasis and reduces dandruff. It also may slow grey hair from forming and regrow damaged hair.

Argan Oil: Derived from the kernel of the argan tree, this oil is wonderful for all kinds of cosmetic uses. It moisturizes, protects hair from breakage and adds shine. This oil is also very high in vitamin E which repairs dull and damaged hair and adds the beautiful shine of health. This antioxidant is also responsible for argan oil’s ability to keep hair follicles free from damage and protected from stress.

To use:
As a hair mask: Apply as many droppers full as need to your scalp and hair. You may also warm the oil up before applying. This should help the oils penetrate better. Massage well onto the skin for 5-15 minutes using circular motions. Work your way down through your hair and very gently comb through if desired. Wrap with a warm cotton cloth or shower cap and allow the oil to sit on your hair and scalp for at least 30 minutes. You can also apply before bed and leave on overnight to wash in the morning.

As beard oil: Apply a few drops up to a dropper onto beard and comb through with preferred beard comb. Use on a clean beard.

As a deep leave in conditioner: Apply to hair after washing, comb through and style as desired.

Daughters itchy scalp

My daughter had been having a super dry itchy scalp, making her hair life less and void of shine or vibrant color. We have used this 3 times now, and the difference in her hair is amazing. She loves to brush it now, it gets less tangled, and the shine and healthiness of it is truly amazing. Love this product!

Life Changing.

Due to some hormonal issues, I've developed dry, painful skin on my scalp. I started using the hair oil everyday to help with the pain, itching, and flaking, and after only 7 days I have found so much relief. My itching and flakiness is minimal, and my pain is much better. I am so grateful!

Adult and baby use

I’m not the best with washing my hair a lot. My scalp is usually pretty dry and itchy. When I use this hair oil, I massage it in and then use a brush to kind of massage it into my scalp to get all of the residue and dry skin off before I wash my hair is always super soft and the itchiness is gone. My toddler is 2 1/4 and she is starting to get a lot of hair on top. She was a bald baby. I did not realize she had some dirt buildup. I just put the hair oil on and massaged it into the skin using a soft plastic bristle brush all the dirt came off and did not irritate her skin , her hair is super soft and super clean. I will make sure I have this oil at all times definitely recommend for adults and kids alike.
