Nettles: Perhaps due to the histamine content and action as a natural antihistamine, stinging nettle is considered by many herbalists as the best herb for management and prevention of allergy symptoms. It blocks histamines that trigger an allergic response. Nettle is also anti-inflammatory and pain relieving.

Marshamallow Root: Due to the abundance of mucilage it contains, marshmallow root is an excellent demulcent (soothes and softens mucous membranes). It is also a powerful antioxidant and supportive of the immune system and protects against invading pathogens. Marshmallow also contains amino acids and quercetin which bring healing properties and help to reduce mucous, swelling and inflammation in the nasal passages and airways. It is soothing to dry, scratchy and irritated throats.

Elder Flowers: This herb is indicated for catarrhal inflammation up the upper respiratory tract, such as hay fever. Elder flowers are diaphoretic, antispasmodic and anticatarrhal. This herbs ability to improve and regulate immune function, also makes it an effective addition for allergy relief.

Turmeric Root: A potent anti-inflammatory and his in anti-oxidants.

Fennel: These aromatic seeds contain numerous vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, quercetin and flavonoids. They are anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory and a natural antihistamine.

To use: Take 1 full dropper (20-30 drops) twice a day (you may increase to 2 droppers if needed). May be added to a beverage such as tea.
