This all-natural facial scrub is a refreshing, gentle cleanser. Ground organic certified gluten-free oats and raw sugar exfoliate and relax your skin. The combination of raw honey and castor oil work to remove impurities and cleanse. Chamomile is known to be calming and reduce redness. Frankincense and geranium essential oil provide numerous benefits including potential hormonal balancing. This scrub is anti-itch, anti-inflammatory and is packed with nutrients and moisture. Conventional scrubs contain chemicals and alcohols that are damaging to the delicate skin on your face; this scrub is gentle and nourishing. All skin types (oily, dry or combination) can benefit from this scrub. Followed up with face oil, your skin will likely transform after continued use.

Castor oil in this scrub will remove small amounts of make-up but most make up should be removed prior to using this scrub. Our natural herbal make-up remover works perfectly!

Made by hand in the U.S. in small batches with 100% organic ingredients. Gluten-Free, Corn-Free, Soy-Free, Nut-Free, Alcohol-Free. No Artificial Colors, Flavors, Fragrances, or Preservatives.

Ingredients: Avena sativa (Oat) Kernel*, Raw Sugar, Raw Honey*, Matricaria chamomilla (Chamomile) Flower*, Calendula officinalis (Calendula) Flower*, Ricinus communis (Castor) Seed Oil*, Populus adenopoda (Aspen Bark) Extract**, Tocopherol (Vitamin E) Oil*, Boswellia carteri (Frankincense) Essential Oil, Pelargonium graveolens (Geranium) Essential Oil*

*Certified Organic Ingredient

** A natural and safe preservative. This will prevent mold and bacteria from growing when water is introduced when used. It also is a natural source of salicylic acid.

*Organic Oat Kernel: Oatmeal is naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and lipids. It helps keep skin hydrated by building an occlusive layer on the skin and helps exfoliate and cleanse the skin due to its content of saponins. It helps soothe and nourish the skin and reduces dryness and roughness. Oat Kernel is anti-inflammatory and helps with inflammatory skin conditions, contains antioxidant properties, flavonoids and UVA screens that absorb UV rays. It is well suited for all skin types including sensitive and problem skin such as acne, eczema and psoriasis.

*Raw Honey: Packed full of vitamins and nutrients and helps prevent and reverse damage. Much of its benefits can be attributed to its high antioxidant levels. It is antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory. It has been shown to help improve acne spots, ulcers, burns, wounds, rashes and dry skin.

*Castor Oil: Oil begets oil. This is very important. You will often find me strongly advocating against the use of soap for facial wash. Castor oil, when applied to warm, wet skin, blends with the oils of our skin and pulls it gently from our pores. It helps remove dust, grime and pollutants from your skin and prevents build up that can cause acne breakouts and infections. Almost 90 percent of castor oil's fatty acid content is a rare, dense, and concentrated compound called ricinoleic acid that helps to soothe and smooth skin. It is deeply hydrating, protects, calms and evens skin tone.

*Chamomile Flowers: This wonderful herb has been used for skincare for ages! Ancient Egyptians and Greeks would crush chamomile flowers and apply to wounds and treat weather related skin conditions. Chamomile can be used to treat skin inflammation and damage, reduces redness, calms acne breakouts and reduces scars. Chamomile is astringent, antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic. It is also considered to be hypoallergenic with the ability to neutralize skin irritants. It is particularly useful for skin conditions such as contact dermatitis and eczema.

*Calendula Flowers: Calendula is well known for its use as a wound healer. It has high anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, antifungal and astringent properties that make it excellent for skin care. These flowers are also very hydrating to the skin.

*Other ingredients include turbinado sugar, tocopherol, Frankincense and Geranium essential oil. These add further anti-oxidant, anti-aging and gentle astringent properties to this scrub.

Remove a small amount of scrub and blend it between wet hands to loosen it up.
Rub your hands and scrub all over your face making sure to work well into your personal trouble areas such as between the eyes, nose and chin.
Rinse well! With warm water.

Our herbal makeup remover makes an excellent match with this scrub.

I love this scrub! It makes my face feel so soft and smooth after words. Not drying or stripped feeling like most scrubs and a little goes a long way which I love! I pair it with the face toners or oil for even more added benefits!

I love this scrub! I use it on my face and feet. It is great for dry patches on your skin. It lightly scrubs with an added thick and creamy honey mixture to lock in the moisture. It feels and smells so good too!

Helped my KP!

Me again with a second review for this great product! As I was taking my shower today, it made me remember what I’ve been doing to help my KP (chicken) skin!

I usually struggle with KP on the backs of my arms & my thighs. I’ve been using the face scrub on my arms & elbows then alternate with an exfoliating mitt & normal not abrasive loofa to wash my body. After I dry off I’ve been using the Botanical Body Cream lotion (before that I used the original body butter). I showed my husband my arms & he says they definitely look less “chicken-y” and more smooth. And they feel more smooth too!

So if you’re looking for another reason to love the face scrub, this is it! If you struggle with chicken skin, I’d give this a try & grab some Botanical Body Cream too.
